ARE THERE TWO BODYLUX'S?
Yes and no. We are the Bodylux RX. There is a Bodylux (no RX) in the same building. We started as one organization back in 2011. We expanded in 2013. The Bodylux RX is the very health-minded, clinical team of specialized massage therapists, body-workers and the chiropractor. We operate as two separate businesses with separate staff, separate phone numbers, separate websites, separate hours.

SHOULD I SEE A CHIROPRACTOR, MASSAGE THERAPIST, BODYWORKER OR A COMBINATION?
Chiropractors work with bones, joints, and nerves primarily. Massage therapists/body-workers concentrate on soft tissue-- muscles, tendons, ligaments, etc. We recommend working with both, as it treats your whole body completely. However, some clients see just our massage therapists or our bodyworkers. Others just see Dr. K.
Hint: If you consult with Dr. K first, she can help you figure out which therapist/therapies would be best for you and your needs.
CAN I USE MY FSA OR HSA CARD?
You absolutely can use your FSA or HSA account for massage and chiropractic services. We can provide the documentation necessary for use upon request.
We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans for chiropractic care. Not all plans have chiropractic coverage, but we are happy to help verify your coverage prior to visiting. If you wish to use your BCBS coverage for our soft tissue work, you MUST be under the care of our chiropractor to determine need for care. Insurance rules.

I AM USING A GROUPON. WHAT INFO DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
When you call, text or email to schedule an appointment to use your Groupon, we will need the following information: first and last name, preferred phone number, email address and your Groupon voucher number (located under the barcode). We will need to verify that your Groupon is valid for our business. The email address is necessary for us to send confirmation of your appointment when we schedule it.
We ask for this information in totality to complete your schedule request in order to ensure a smooth first visit.
As of May of 2020, WE ARE NO LONGER OFFERING OUR SERVICES ON GROUPON. We just can't afford it anymore. We are fulfilling on what has been sold and then we are done. If you have a GROUPON which has expired, you can use the value of that GROUPON toward a regularly priced service.
I'M TRYING TO SCHEDULE ONLINE AND IT WON'T LET ME CREATE A LOGIN. HELP?
If you are new to us, the system will require that you schedule your first appointment with the assistance of our staff to ensure proper entry and choice of appointment. Once you are in our system, you can create a personal login and schedule online for future appointments.
WHY AM I BEING CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy that requires changes to your massage or new chiropractic appointment be made a full day in advance of your scheduled appointment. We need that amount of time to re-work the schedule. The $25 cancellation fee is charged if you cancel or fail to show up to your appointment on the day you are scheduled. Why? We have great therapists who deserve our support. 100% of the cancellation fee goes back to the therapist -- not the business-- to make up for lost wages. They need to cover childcare, tuition, living expenses just like the rest of us.
WHAT IS THE VIP MEMBERSHIP?
Our VIP memberships are like Costco or Sam’s cards. Your membership garner’s you wholesale prices on our services (33% off) as often as you choose for the duration of the membership. It also gets you advance notice on special deals/packages, preferential scheduling of our late appointments, special entrance to events.
Please note: the VIP membership fee is not a fee for service. It is enrollment in our discount program. It is non-refundable after one use or after 30 days from the date of purchase.
CAN I USE GROUPON FOR SERVICES MORE THAN ONCE?
The answer is NO--- you can use 1 Groupon for services with the Bodylux RX. Groupon is a paid advertising expense for us. We cannot sustain a business on Groupons. Nor can we maintain the quality of staff that we have on Groupon based services.

WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF MASSAGES?
We have different therapists and different types of massages offered because people and problems are different. We have just as many clients who have found the right match in one therapist and style, as those who get to know several or all of our therapists. It allows you to choose a familiar therapist based on need. I personally can say things like --’yup, my shoulder needs Ula today.” Or, “this is an Emily problem.” Or, “I just need to float on Jenny’s table right now.” Check out our services page and our staff page for more detailed info.
